Silver sulfadiazine is a prescription topical antibiotic cream used on the skin to prevent and treat serious wound infections in patients with second- and third-degree burns.

Silver Sulfadiazine contains NLT 98.0% and NMT 102.0% of silver sulfadiazine (C10H9AgN4O2S), calculated on the dried basis.
