Midazolam
Midazolam is a fast-acting benzodiazepine medication used for procedural sedation, anxiety relief, anesthesia induction, and severe seizure management. It induces sleepiness, relaxes muscles, and causes temporary memory loss (amnesia) of medical events, but it does not provide pain relief.
