Specifications of Basic Copper Carbonate:
Description :- A green colour free flowing powder. Free from visible extraneous matter and added modifying agents.
Chemical Formula : Cu(OH)2.CuCO3
Total copper content: 55 % minimum.
pH of 1 % slurry: 6.5 to 8.5
Sulphate as 'SO4': 700 ppm maximum.
Chloride as 'Cl': 700 ppm maximum.
Sodium as 'Na': 2500 ppm maximum.
Potassium as 'K': 50 ppm maximum.
Iron as 'Fe': 300 ppm maximum.
Arsenic as 'As': 55 ppm maximum.
Lead as 'Pb':200 ppm maximum.
Cadmium as 'Cd': 55 ppm maximum.
