Micro-encapsulated Ascorbic Acid is manufactured by wurster coating process. Micro-encapsulation of Ascorbic Acid is done by spray painting of a suitable grade of Ascorbic Acid with hydrogenated vegetable or with mono and diglycerides. The inside core is of say about 80% Ascorbic Acid and the coating is the balance.

Appearance: White granules.
Lead: Not more than 5 mg/kg.
