Micro-encapsulation of Fumaric Acid is done by sparay painting of a suitable grade of Fumaric Acid with hydrogenated vegetable or with mono and diglycerides. The inside core is of say about 80% Fumaric Acid and the coating is the balance.

Assay of Fumaric Acid: 80-85%
Percentage of Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil Coating: 15-20%
Lead: Not more than 2 mg/kg.
Maleic Acid: Not more than 0.1%.
Residue on Ignition: Not more than 0.1%.
Water: Not more than 0.5%.
