Menadione (CAS 58-27-5), also known as vitamin K3 or 2-methyl-1,4-naphthoquinone, is a synthetic fat-soluble organic compound with the molecular formula C₁₁H₈O₂. It acts as a precursor to active vitamin K forms and is used in biochemical research and animal feed supplements.

DEFINITION
Menadione contains NLT 98.5% and NMT 101.0% of menadione (C11H8O2),calculated on the dried basis.
